With multiple windows, this isn’t a problem anymore: Just open the same page in two windows side-by-side and choose the one you want to present from. We got a lot of feedback that the ability to lock part of the screen while presenting is being missed in GoodNotes 5. This is amazing for teachers who want to continue writing something down while their students are still busy taking notes from the previous page. You can use this to open reference material for your presentations in another window or open a different page of the same document that your audience is currently viewing without changing what they’ll see. The other window will only be visible to you. When you open GoodNotes in two windows side-by-side, you can tap the share button and chose which window should be presented to the audience on an external screen.
If you’re using our new presentation mode, which has been introduced in GoodNotes 5.2, you’ll love the opportunities that are now possible thanks to the support for multiple windows. Then drag and drop the app you want to open in another window to the side of the screen and it will pair with the currently open app in a space.
